Reporting to: Regional CFO
As the organisation grows, adding a number of consumers as well as products, the Company is looking to bring on board a stellar team member who will help lead the efforts on the Finance and Accounting front, in conjunction with the global team.
Role & Responsibilities :
Accounting: Have an oversight on the accounting function. The company is required to maintain accounts as per IGAAP for Indian requirements and US GAAP for group reporting and consolidation. Global reporting and month-close calendar needs to be followed, while ensuring high level of accuracy in accounting.
Financial Reporting: Guide and drive the FPA team with respect to budgeting, financial analysis and group reporting. As a CFO, the candidate will be required to work closely with the Country Head and other business heads with respect to various operating financials, cost calculations, budgets and inputs from a commercial point of view.
Compliances: Be responsible for tax compliances - Direct Taxes as well as Indirect Taxes, including Transfer Pricing. Also as a CFO, will need to work closely secretarial, legal and other regulatory compliances. Being a subsidiary of a US subsidiary, will be required to adhere to SOX compliances.
Funds Management: To have an oversight on the cashflows of the business, keep a close watch on receivables and plan well the cashflows to ensure smooth running of the business.
Systems and Processes: Need to lead and improvise various systems and processes, with a view to strengthening those in line with global direction.
Audits: Work closely with the internal and external auditors. Work constructively towards addressing issues and gaps identified by the auditors.
Team Building: Be a team player, and to continuously work towards develop skills of all the team members with a view to increasing productivity on a continuous basis.
Personal Attributes :
Should have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor the finance & accounts team while maintaining a cordial relationship with all the other key stakeholders, ensuring progression.
Should act as an interface between finance and other teams, with a solution-oriented approach and thrive in a high growth MNC environment with the ability to manage crises when required.
The desired candidate would need to be a qualified Chartered Accountant, with experience in US GAAP, and Oracle Financials.
Prefer candidates with an overall work experience of 15 to 20 years, and atleast 5 years in a CFO / Finance leadership role.
